Pacific Islands Research Institute (PIRI) is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to supporting research expeditions, documentary films & educational efforts of the cultural heritage and fragile environments of the Pacific. Our mission is to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the peoples of Oceania, and to learn from traditional ways of life to better protect our environment.
